Behind-the-Scenes Speaker Series: Digital Collections for the Classroom

The Behind-the-Scenes Speaker Series is a virtual program series exclusively for supporters of the Newberry. These short talks are designed to introduce you to our staff, keep you updated on the latest from the library, and provide you with a behind-the-scenes view of upcoming programs and projects.

On January 27, 2021, Newberry supporters joined Dr. Kara Johnson, Manager of Teacher and Student Programs, live on Zoom to learn about how the Newberry serves as an invaluable resource for teachers, students, and families, especially in the age of distance learning. Dr. Johnson shared details about her department's programs, delved into the Newberry's popular website Digital Collections for the Classroom, and answered questions live.

We look forward to sharing more content in the months ahead. Keep an eye on your email for invitations to future installments.
